Ahoy all ye mateys! This breeding be the first Montage home-raised litter since Rhian's own, and be carryin' my breeding program forward with my performance line down from great-grandma Torchy. Versace be a handsome devil and Rhian be known far n' wide fer her piratical attitude. She takes no prisoners! Together they made a fine lot o' pirates. A Super Puppy Program for performance activities gave these Pirates a bold, brave start and they all chose a life o' plunderin,' pillagin' and adventurin.' Watch for them in many venues, especially agility!

Montage Pirate's Life for Me "Savvy" Savvy has joined Rusty Pearson's pirate agility crew in Castle Rock CO. Savvy be brash and feisty, looking for trouble and fun. He'll steal your ship from under yer nose. A real Pirate for sure. He's a loud screecher, too. Aaaaargh! Just get out of his way.

Montage Pirate's Code "Parlez" The Pirate Code of the Bretheren includes the right to declare Parlez, in which the person who declares it shall be taken to the enemy captain for negotiations and shall remain unharmed by the crew until such time. A fitting name for a daring puppy! "Parlez" is another member of Rusty's pirate agility crew and she be co-owned with Montage. Parlez be small and very athletic. She's far and away the fastest in the litter and she be the loudest screecher, too! The nickname "holy terror" comes to mind when me thinks of Miss Parlez.

Montage Pirate's Treasure "Rum" Rum be the puppy staying at Montage in New York City. Some pirates want pieces of eight but others say rum be the real treasure. Our Rummy is a treasure! She be outgoing, affectionate and very smart like her mama. The piratey part of her nature comes through as thievery! She steals the booty from people's pockets and she be takin' all the toys fer her own. Plans for Rummy include tracking, competition obedience, agility and breed.

Montage the Flying Dutchman "Dutch" Dutch used to be known as "Plumpy the Purple Pirate" but its a fact that nobody thinks yer fierce with a name like Plumpy so now he be called Dutch after the fearsome Pirate Ghost Ship of the Carribean. Dutchy has captured the heart of Cathy Parisi in Smithtown NY, and he be co-owned with Montage. He be stable, enthusiastic and really sweet (for a fearsome Pirate, that is)! (He's also fluffy.) Watch for him in competition obedience, agility and breed.

Montage Hoist the Colors "Cap'n" The dreaded skull and crossbones flag known as "the colors" strikes terror into the hearts of sailors (and Border Collies) everywhere. Cap'n has joined the pirate agility crew of Scott and Eileen Allen in Monee IL. Cap'n be proving himself to the rest o' the crew by breaking out of the brig and stealing socks and other plunder. He's a really pretty pirate so we won't be surprised to see him in breed and we expects he'll make all the lady Tervs swoon.

Montage High Seas Marauder "Rogue" The 18th century was notorious for marauding pirates on the high seas intercepting Spanish galleons and taking the loot back to their pirate lairs in the Caribbean. "Rogue" be living up to his name - a rambunctious, pillaging, piratey pup with lots of charm! Johnny Depp has nothing on him. Rogue joined the pirate menagerie o' Tim White and Rachel Blackmer in NC, which includes .. wait for it ... a Parrot that says AAAAAARGH! Rogue be ready for anything from tracking to agility to breed - but guard yer pants legs, and watch yer ankles, too.

Montage Shiver Me Timbers "Timber" When the cannon balls and big waves hit a pirate ship, the timbers may shiver! Timber be a big, handsome, affectionate Pirate, bold and outgoing with excellent structure and breed type. He joined the crew o' Darlene Pineda, Steve Carleton and family in Elizabeth City, NC. Timber be Darlene's first performance dog and he be ready for many adventures. He can do anything Darlene has a mind to try, from agility to sheep herding and therapy dog work, too, as this pirate has a heart o' gold. There might also be some ocean adventures ahead fer Timber since Steve be a fine, seafarin' man. Aye, aye mateys!
